You will have two wonderful 6 hour tours & visit fabulous locations including: Bourton on the Water, Lower & Upper Slaughter, Stow on the Wold, the thatched village of Great Tew, Broadway, Chipping Campden & more. In total we will visit 12 stunning locations over two days. This tour is for a maximum of 7 guests, ideal for solo travellers couples & small groups. You will have free time to explore at every stop. Priced at £80 per person for both tours. Lunch, refreshments, accommodation & entrance to Broadway Tower (£4.50) is not included in the tour price.
This tour starts & finishes at Moreton in Marsh Railway Station only. Available on Saturday & Sunday's only from Saturday 17th October until Sunday 20th December 2020.
Cotswolds Tour Day 1:
Start the tour at Moreton in Marsh railway station at 9.45am.
If you have arrived on the 9.20am train, we can store your luggage on the minibus.
We will drive through Moreton in Marsh & head to our first destination, Broadway Tower. You will have time to explore or have a morning coffee in the café. The tour will then head to three fabulous villages, Snowshill, Stanway & Stanton. At each village you will have time to admire the picture perfect cottages, learn the quirky history & take photos as you wander through the quaint village streets. We will then head to the large village of Broadway, with it's selection of shops & tearooms. This is the lunch break location where you will have 1 hour 30 minutes to find the perfect spot of lunch or indulge in some retail therapy, perhaps visit the Cotswold Chocolate Shop or the Cotswold Gin Distillery store. After lunch the tour will head to the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden the perfect location for a 'cream tea' or to admire the towns architectural features & independent shops.
The tour will finish at Moreton in Marsh railway station at 4pm.
Cotswolds Tour Day 2:
Start the tour at Moreton in Marsh railway station at 9.45am.
Your second day exploring visits an entirely different part of the Cotswolds. The first stop on the tour is the beautiful village of Lower Slaughter. Have time to wander through this village & see the famous water mill, one of the most photographed buildings in the Cotswolds. We will then head on to the must-see village of Bourton on the Water, you will have time for morning coffee in one of the local bakeries or tearooms lining the little river. The next stop is the tiny village of Upper Slaughter before we head to the historic market town of Stow on the Wold where we will stop over the lunch break for 1 hour 30 minutes. The afternoon of this tour is spent visiting our 'secret village' before we head to the last location of the day, the beautiful thatched village of Great Tew, where you can wander through the village or pop into the local pub, with its roaring fires & quirky interior.
The tour will finish at Moreton in Marsh railway station at 4pm.
