The first stop on this Epic Cotswold tour is the tiny village of Adlestrop, linked with two famous writers you can stroll through the peaceful village street admiring the pretty cottages. Next we will head onto the most famous village in the Cotswolds, Bourton on the Water. Wander along the river, crossing little stone bridges. This is the perfect stop for morning coffee where you can spend time watching the world go by or exploring the little stores. 

You will then travel through the beautiful Coln Valley to arrive at one of the most 'instagram-able' row of cottages in the Cotswolds, Arlington Row in Bibury. William Morris a pioneer of the Art's & Crafts movement described this as 'the most beautiful village in England'. Find out the history of this location along with it's links to one of the worst jobs in history.

Next you will head to one of the 'gateway's to the Cotswolds' the hillside market town of Burford. One for the gateways to the Cotswolds this is the perfect spot for lunch & a look around the array of independent stores. If shopping isn't your thing, don't worry the architecture here is a feast of the eyes, so you can enjoy a leisurely walk around the town admiring the quirky, old building lining the high street.

 

In the afternoon you will then travel through quiet country lanes to visit Lower Slaughter. This tiny, idyllic, riverside village has a fabulous old water mill which you will see as you wander along the regularly voted  'most romantic street in England'. Finish the day in one of the luckiest villages in England, Upper Slaughter. Enjoy walking through this tranquil village, reflecting on all the amazing locations you have explored with us! The perfect way to end your day.
