These terms & conditions come into effect on 12th July 2020 & are for any new bookings taken from this date onwards.
If you booked & paid for a tour with us (irrespective if your tour is taking place after 12th July 2020) you booked with the previous terms & conditions that can be found here
By booking a service with us, it is expected that you have travel insurance. Cotswolds Guided Tours is happy to liaise with your insurance provider if you need to cancel your visit for any reason.
If you book a private half day or full day tour with us. You will pay a deposit to secure your date, for a half day tour this is £25. The deposit is non refundable.
14 days before your tour date, you will be sent an invoice for the remaining amount. Once the balance has been paid your booking becomes non refundable.
From the time the invoice is sent, you have 48 hours to pay the balance. If no payment is made within the 48 hours, your date will be re-advertised for sale & your deposit will not be refunded.
If your booking is made & there is less that one calendar month before your tour date, the full amount will be payable at the time of booking & this amount is non refundable.
Collection / Return Points:
Collection points in the North Cotswolds are free of charge, see website page for details.
If a charge is applicable for your collection point, then this will be included in the invoice that is sent one calendar month before your tour.
If you have booked a half day tour & subsequently change your collection / return point to anywhere outside the 'free collection zone' We may not be unable to accommodate the change, in this instance we will arrange a taxi for you. However the taxi prices will be higher than the prices we charge & you will be liable for the additional cost of the transfer.
Every effort will be made to follow the most up to date government guidelines, however we are unable to guarantee that our business is 100% coronavirus free. Safety is our top priority, but tours are taken at visitors own risk. Guests must wear a facemask whilst on the minibus.
Guests who refuse to provide their travel / contact details will be refused entry to the tour, no refund will be provided.
If a guest displays coronavirus symptoms &/or their temperature is above 37.8 then admission to the tour for anyone in your group will be refused & no refund will be provided.
If a guest is taken ill during the tour then your driver guide will take you to the nearest medical facility.
If there is a local, regional or national lockdown that affects the Cotswolds, we will cancel our tours. If we cancel our tours then a full refund of your tour will be provided.
If you are unable to travel to us due to a local, regional or international lockdown that affects the area you are travelling from but does not affect the Cotswolds, no refund will be provided, but we will be happy to work with your travel insurance provider.
Town or Village Walking Tour:
Once you have confirmed the date & time you would like your town or village walking tour we will reserve the date for you & you will pay a £10 deposit, which is non refundable. One month before your walking tour we will send an invoice for the balance which is payable online. If your booking is made & there is less that one calendar month before your walking tour date, the full amount will be payable at the time of booking & this amount is non refundable.
Self Guided Walking Holiday:
Prior to any work taking place on your bespoke travel plan we will require full payment.
Once work commences on your bespoke itinerary then this service is non refundable.
