Famous Cotswolds Tour


On the Famous Cotswolds Tour you will spend time exploring the fabulous waterside village of Lower Slaughter. This is a fantastic location as the large tour buses & coaches are not allowed access to this very special village. You will have time to spend in the most famous village in the Cotswolds, Bourton on the Water. You can visit the little shops, wander over the bridges, head to the miniature village or just sit back & soak up the atmosphere. Another great stop on this tour is the village of Upper Slaughter, One of our favourite villages, find out why this was one of the luckiest places to live in the Cotswolds. During your visit you may even spot some Cotswolds Lions, but don't worry they won't bite! On the Famous Cotswolds Tour you will also visit the highest market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, Stow on the Wold. Uncover the towns history, visit Tolkien's Door, try out the Old Stocks on the village green and even see the 'Oldest Inn in England' or for those who love to shop, why not visit the Cotswolds Chocolate shop and see the chocolate being made, or visit the Cotswolds Cheese shop. That just leaves two more fantastic stops, Great Tew where you can see these traditional thatched cottages & our 'secret' village, connected to two famous writers.


Cotswold Highlights Tour


On the Cotswold Highlights Tour you will spend time exploring beautiful hillside villages, iconic landmarks & two famous market towns. This Cotswolds tour uncovers secret villages in remote locations, inaccessible by public transport. If you are looking for an escape to the country then this is the perfect choice for you. The first stop on the tour is the iconic landmark of Broadway Tower. You can choose to have morning coffee at the café, visit the gift shop or you can climb to the top of the smallest castle in the Cotswolds. (entrance to the Tower is not included in the tour price) Whatever you choose to do during this stop, there are fabulous views over the countryside we will be exploring. Our next three stops include the breath-taking villages of Snowshill, with it's royal connections. This village is often used as a film set. You will then head on to Stanway, a tiny hamlet with tonnes of quirky history. On to one of the best preserved villages in the Cotswolds, Stanton, here you will see beautiful thatched cottages & often hear the clip-clop of horses hooves along the main street. Over lunch you will have time to explore the wonderfully historic market town of Broadway lots of options for lunch & plenty of little independent shops. Then the last stop of the day is the much loved town of Chipping Campden, its impressive buildings & array of tearooms this is a great spot for a traditional Cotswolds cream tea. The Cotswold Highlights tour is a fabulous balance of tiny cute villages & bustling market towns.
